What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is using your computer, tablet  or phone to have your physiotherapy appointment. A diagnosis can be made from your first Telehealth appointment, and a plan can be formulated to manage your condition. You will also be given an explanation of your injury or problem. A home exercise program will be prescribed to help you effectively manage your condition.

Who can access Telehealth?

As of 14th April 2020 Private Health Funds will be providing rebates for Telehealth Consultations, but always check with your health fund before your appointment if you are unsure. You can also ask your GP if you are eligible for Telehealth through an Enhanced Primary Care Plan. Workcover and NDIS patients are also able to access Telehealth.
